Shadowlawn Community Development District
The Shadowlawn Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on March 16, 2022 by the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, , Ordinance No. 2022-13 to plan, establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities described and authorized by Section 190.012, Florida Statutes.
The Shadowlawn CDD is located entirely within Clay County Florida, and covers approximately 268.82 acres of land. The site is generally located south and west of County Road 218, north of State Road 16 and east of Thunder Road. The District is the best alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.

The Shadowlawn Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on March 16, 2022 by the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Ordinance No. 2022-13. The powers and functions of the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. Consent was given to the District’s Board of Supervisors to finance, fund, plan, established, acquire, construct, reconstruct, enlarge, or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural and educational; uses, and for security, all as authorized and described by Sections 190.012(2)(a) and (2)(d), Florida Statutes (2021).
